I tutor IB Maths (AA/AI) at SL and HL. I did the Diploma in the US and later studied applied maths, so I know the syllabus quirks and what examiners tend to reward. I worked in a genetics lab after uni, so I’m especially good with enzymes, genetics, and data-based questions (those awkward graphs and chi-square bits). I tutor IB History and focus heavily on what the papers demand. For 11 years I’ve helped students with Paper 1 source analysis and building faster, clearer arguments for Paper 2/3 essays. We’ll work on historiography, precise thesis lines, and choosing evidence that answers the question (not a timeline). I can also help you tighten an IA so it stays narrow enough to finish, but still interesting.

I used to work on urban planning projects, so topics like population change, sustainability, and climate adaptation feel very real to me. Lessons usually start with one case study and then we build the theory around it, so essays don’t sound generic. I can help with fieldwork write-ups and the IA, especially turning messy notes into a clean methodology, maps/graphs, and a sharper evaluation.

I work with IB Economics SL/HL students online from Boston. I’m an economics grad who spent a few years in consulting, and I’m picky about diagrams and definitions (in a good way). We’ll practise real past-paper prompts, sharpen evaluation, and make sure your chains of reasoning don’t jump steps. For IAs, I’ll help you choose articles with enough data and keep the commentary on track instead of summarising the news.

I tutor IB English A (Language & Literature). I help students choose workable global issues, tighten line-by-line analysis, and write introductions that don’t waffle. If you’re doing the IO or HL Essay, I’ll keep you close to the criteria and help you build a clean outline before you draft. I’m also happy to do quick “quote surgery” sessions where we pick 3–5 lines and dig into methods, tone, and effect.

IB Business Management is my lane. I’ve supported startups and taught BM for 5 years, so I’m solid on Unit 3/4 calculations, decision tools, and explaining answers in a way that matches the markbands. For the IA, we can build a sensible research question, organise your supporting documents, and make recommendations that actually follow from the numbers and analysis.
